Classic HotSync via Bluetooth connection – now that’s a choice!

In our previous video, we featured HotSync via Wi-Fi connection. And now we’re HotSyncing via Bluetooth. This means that in case Wi-Fi is not available, you can still share data between your desktop computer and Classic on Pre using BT, or choose between the two depending on which connection you prefer. The video features setup and once you complete these few steps, you’re ready to go.

HotSync is coming as v2.0 major feature, together with improved overall performance. The upgrade to v2.0 will be free for existing Classic users.

Make sure to stay tuned because soon we’ll be unveiling more new features coming to you in Classic v2.0.

Will this also enable using a Bluetooth keyboard driver in Classic? {@PalmPreLawyer}

Hey is Classic 2.0 being released this Thursday with the Palm update to 1.2.1?

So now the obvious question - WebOS 1.2 came out today, soooooo, how do we get Hotsync functionality? :)

Thanks again for the great product.

Now that WebOS 1.2 is available, when will Classic V2 be available with the hotsync capability many of us have been waiting for before purchasing a Pre?

Thanks...

Can someone tell if this is a full sync with Outlook (Calendar, Contacts, Notes and Tasks?)

Will this sync Contacts, Calendar, Notes and Tasks with Outlook?

@Dwight:
HotSync in Classic has the same capabilities as it had on your older Palm OS devices, meaning that yes, sync with these Outlook items will work.

Great post you got here. It would be great to read something more concerning this topic. The only thing I would like to see here is some photos of any devices.
