Palm released a webOS 1.0.4 update yesterday including an update to the ROM component of Classic so that Classic ROM release version 1.1 is now complete and officially published.
This update addresses the issues some users experienced after applying a previous webOS update from Palm (1.0.3).
That update was supposed to provide this same Classic v1.1 ROM update, however, due to the omission Palm made in the release process, critical components of that update were not included. Consequently, Classic v1.1 update as released in webOS 1.0.3 update was incomplete and caused Classic to crash (blue screen).
We advise all users to apply the 1.0.4 update now as well as update their Classic Mojo app from the Palm App Catalog.
To confirm that Classic update is full and complete please open Classic > Help menu item.
It should read "v1.1.05 (build: 1105)".

Does anyone know if Pocket Tunes works with Classic 1.1? I gather it didn't work with previous versions of Classic.
